I have spent a lot of years doing research on multimedia on Linux, and even do some developer work on [[http://www.gentoo.org/|Gentoo Linux]] for a while.  I've picked up a *lot* of stuff in that time, and this wiki is a personal braindump of everything I can casually throw together.

The main focus of this wiki is on DVDs. I have a lot of them (over a thousand) and I've encountered a lot of quirks and anomalies that come with them.

I highly recommend looking through the multimedia archives of [[http://wonkabar.org|my blog at wonkabar.org]] to get human-friendly versions of cool stuff. :)
