 +Had to return mine. :( On some boots it wouldn'​t register in the BIOS, would show up as an IDE drive, or the kernel would have events loading it. I'm certain that the "​e-green"​ functionality that's designed to save power by spinning down faster and spinning up more slowly is the problem. Scanning some DVDs it'd take seconds to respond.
